11. Labor Day               First Monday in September

13. Columbus Day            Second Monday in October

Personal Note: I fly the flag at half staff on Aug 10 in honor of a fallen commrade-in-arms, Samuel Reese James II, KIA RVN 10 Aug 1968.

In addition to the above listed days flags may be flown on days as may be proclaimed by the President of the United States; individual State ad-mission date to the union and State holidays.

The rules and customs of the flag are in accordance with the July 7, 1976 amendment to the Flag Code (Public Law 94-344, 94th Congress, S.J. Res. 49)
