Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else;
you are the one getting burned.

In Vietnam the only english speaking radio station we could get was the American Forces Vietnam Network (AFVN). The programming offered a variety of flavors in music, commentary, serials, and news. The background sound for this page is from the popular movie "Good Morning Vietnam" staring Commedian Robin Williams as Adrian Cronauer, an Air Force disc jockey . This was in 1965 a good 4 years before I arrived in-country. I did, however, catch one daily serial, Chickenman. I tried to hear every installment and probably only missed a few in the year that I was stationed there. It was both entertaining and gave one something to think about instead of the war going on around you. Thanks to Dick Orkin my tour in the nam was made somewhat more bearable because of his "Most Famous Radio Super Hero". Now that I've found "Sandy Orkin's Web Site" I can hear samples of my favorite "Radio Super Hero" on my computer anytime day or night. The link below will send you to my "Tribute Page" to "Chickenman" and a Link from there will carry you to "Sandy's Orkin's Site" to browse and reminice.
